Unfortunately, there isn't consistency in the naming conventions so I thought it would be important to at least provide some clarity on the situation.
When talking about LaLoon in my learning series, I am referring to an army of golem(s), a method of addressing enemy CC troops, a KS to take out AD(s) and the enemy AQ, and hounds/loons deployed typically in a clockwise or counterclockwise fashion. Minions are rare and only used for the occasional funnel or one for clean up
For use of minions see next post on LavaLoonion. For use of Penta also see my next post.
Here are examples of the same LaLoon attack strategy that goes by these many names. Note: these are not necessarily the best examples of how to attack. They are just there to show the inconstancy in naming conventions.

FYI, Hulk came up with the naming conventions of CB, shattered, and stoned (and brimstone and freakshow) in reference to the number of golems used. There will be a post on golems later, but his naming has become quite standard in the war community.
I'll just be referencing my attacks in the series as a CB LaLoon (1 golem LaLoon) or a Shattered LaLoon (2 golem LaLoon).
Once again, these are all essentially the same attack! Shakespeare said something about roses and names didn't he?
Make love... and clan wars!
