Sorry I dropped the ball on some of my stats... it was an extremely busy weekend... and I didn't make it back in time for this war either so I was a spectator for two wars in a row. It messed with my routine and I forgot to record the stats.... excuses I know... I shall do better my nonexistent readers!!!
In lieu of stats, I'll take this moment to remind my lurkers that we don't really care about wins or losses in our practice wars. Attacks technically aren't even mandatory so unused attacks on our end can make the difference between a win or a loss depending on the clan we're up against. In this instance, I think it was a busy weekend for not just me!
RR cares more about actually learning to three star. I don't think many clans out there are willing to offer weekly practices in an ACTUAL WAR SETTING like we do. They are so focused on the short term green and see a loss as the end of the world. That's not to say Raiders don't care about unused attacks in practice... If you're in RR and especially if you're new or struggling with threes, you'd better make use of practice wars or buh-bye!
Practice wars are here to give an opportunity to try new strategies or fine tune old ones. Members can attack without the pressure or guilt of affecting the outcome of the war for the rest of the clan. We all know the feeling of itching to try something new but being too close in stars and then playing it safe with a different strategy. As a result our three star count, average destruction, and even wins may take a hit during practices, but our actual stats in real wars improve over the long run. More recently we saw members making use of practice wars to try out dark spells and the new AQ AI :)
If you look back at the RR war log, the ONLY loss we've had in a real war since I've joined Raiders was to Maximo! Even before then, there was plenty of green with almost all of the losses being in a practice war and the losses in real wars being extremely close (within a star?)
Just had to toot the Raider horn there... cause our system kinda rocks... HONK HONK!!!
